Wild island!!

We only went once last year and the kids ALWAYS ask, more like beg haha, to go so I worked a short day and went for the half day :) abb wasn't as adventurous as last year...she wanted to play it safe in the wave pool and lazy river lol but I got Dax to go down the purple and green slide :) the heat set in (and hunger) and it was time to go. Looking forward to another visit! Happy Summer Solstice ;)

Tuesday treat ;)

The kids and I went to the library when I got home from work like we do almost every Tuesday...came home and had dinner....mowed the yard...bounced them on the trampoline...then I just made carmel popcorn and we started a movie we borrowed :) late night movie with carmel popcorn.....treat Tuesday ;)

Neighborhood girls...

My good neighbor friend Beth hosted a party yesterday. They were celebrating their daughters bday. Shes Abbys best friend and will be in the same class next year if we all get the teachers we requested :) it was a fun time. Good food and slip-n-slide and cake and presents :) we all have a first grader and one starting kindergarten next year :) Dax is the only boy of the 5 year olds, but it doesn't phase him ;)

I held it together all the way up to reading her report card and then my happy emotions got the better of me and I teared up haha reading how much someone else enjoys and knows how special and lovely she is...well thats enough to make any proud mom cry :) she had a great year and I'm looking forward to this summer break....the last one before they BOTH start school!!! Oh and the tears continue....

Kids wanted to ride bikes and I didnt want to make dinner...ba-da bing ba-da boom bike ride to McD here we come! It took us 15 mins. They did wicked awesome! It's not too busy of a road but busy enough to make mama nervous :)
