I got to help my best friend out this morning and watch her kids :) (doesn't always line up with my days off that I can help so this was a treat :) ) We had a fun time just having them around doing what we do

Grandpa, Grandma, and Aunt Rusty, Beth, Vinnie, and the girls, and SooMee, Rob, and the kids came over for cake and ice cream to help us celebrate our little man. Love you Bubba!

Ta-da!!!

A couple hours of work this morning and we have grass!! Jb borrowed his uncles rototiller last week and we tilled the backyard(which was mostly dirt anyways), raked it out and got it ready for sod. Thanks grandma and grandpa! We're not suppose to walk on it for 4 days?? The kids are dieing to get their toes on it! Honestly neither can i! But in the meantime...I just love looking at it :)

Two days of fun so far :) we woke up at 630 again and got ourselves down to the ferry station to catch the 8:30 ferry back to vallejo

Day 2 :)

So this morning we got up and out on the town to get on the 9:15am Alcatraz ferry. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!!! We took the audio tour around the cell house. We stayed on the island for a couple hours...it was neat and interesting. Afterwrds we headed to Haight Ashbury by trolly!! Audrey and I stood on the outside step! It was wicked fun and got me excited for tomorrow ;) haight street was a lot of..... alternative :)... shops. We walked up one side of the street and back down the other the. Took the bus to china town and walked to north beach "little italy" and had dinner. Some fun shopping and great weather :)

The hotel is a couple blocks from union square and china town. We dropped our things and changed and headed back down to the pier thinking we could catch the boat to alcatraz but it was booked for the night so we shopped around pier 39 and had dinner at bubba gump shrimp :) then walked down to ghiradelli square...awesome views. Everything is so tall....and old here :)

Dessert...

The crazy cab driver took us to union square where we went to the top of the macys building where the cheesecake factory is and ate on the patio :) yummo! Got to say goodnight to my kids ;) and then we walked the couple blocks back to the hotel...all up hill haha good workout after the cheesecake... and the fun continues tomorrow!!!
