Racing

Jb is racing again and its been fun. The track at Fernley is only a half hour or more from our house. The kids and I headed put there last weekend and had fun playing in the sand and dirt :) and the tractor. And cheering for grandpa and daddy who got first place! The kids think his trophies are wicked awesome :)

Helper

We got a new vacuum a few weeks ago ( in my favorite color none the less haha) and the kids love to help. Yay!

This is in the hallway of the front door. I was going to use cafe rings because I have bags of them, but I can't find them. So I used magnets since I have a LOT :) its been a fun place to hang up abbys school papers. Her new school is year round, and full day kindergarten!! Its been great. Its 12 houses away so we walk everyday. She is on her first month off break. She goes back on the 18th. We made a "spring break" activities poster. The first morning after making the poster she woke up, walked straight to the poster, then came to me and said "i just dont know what to pick mama!! There are so many great things to choose!!"

Daffodils!!

Gotta love the beauty of spring!! The previous home owners planted quite a few bulbs that we get to enjoy!!! Thank you!

beds

So when we moved into the new house we weren't sure how to set up the kids room. We came up with this :)

One of the wood beds with the slide bed above. Abb slept up top and Dax underneath. The slide was only there a day. We moved the dresser out of the closet and it ran into the slide.

It was working out ok, but it was hard helping abb to bed, or making her bed, or giving her good night loves. so we switched things around today!

We brought in the other bed and now they have the same bed. I like it. They had been playing with the slide so I put it spanning across the middle.

"And then in the morning, I can come across here and wake you up!!"

Next up is ACTUAL bedding haha and some decoration. I've got some fun ideas :)

road signs

Went to pizza at a local place down the street. abby wanted to walk home :) so her and jb started off with dax and i behind them slowly. then he hopped out haha

Unpacking boxes...found some old food. Bubba says "mom, i want that!" i said, "no bubba, itans icky." his reply..... "but i love icky things!!!" lol

Spending the first night in our new house! thank you grandma, grandpa and aunt rusty..... love you guys

Abby snuggled in next to me not feeling well covering her right ear- "How come you keep breathing in my ear with your nose, mama?"

#7 - Abb talking to the birds

Grandma and grandpa have some mexican gray?? birds that talk. they also imitate noises. and early in the morning too. so one of the most squawked sayings is "good boy".
it was one of the first nights being at the house. i asked abb to go get a couple books from the room...so she ran down the hall, paused, and then sneaked a couple steps into the room at the end of the hall where the birds are. which she usually shys away from the birds....

Abb: hi, i'm abby. i live here now (in a cute high voice)
bird: good boy
Abb: yea, good boy

she then spied me and ran into her room. i thought it was super cute of her to introduce herself ;)
